All proceeds going to support the Food Bank Network of the San Luis Valley as we work to meet the rising challenges of hunger and malnutrition across all of the SLV's communities. La Puente Home, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in Colorado's San Luis Valley providing a safety net of services where individuals and families get what they need to stabilize, heal, and ultimately thrive.

With the objective of meeting the needs of the homeless and community members in crisis, La Puente’s services both restore and strengthen people’s lives, so that they can live independently, with dignity.

La Puente currently operates 7 direct service programs in order to help fulfill our mission, which are:

1. The Community Shelter is a 68-bed living space with a soup kitchen serving three daily meals and other amenities such as showers and laundry. Case managers work with guests to connect them to a network of support.
2. Adelante Family Resource Center assists families with housing, referrals, improved access to counseling, and self-advocacy. Adelante supports a wide range of households in our region.
3. PALS is a referral-based, licensed, after-school and summer program designed for children (K-5) with high social-emotional needs and traumatic backgrounds. The program empowers kids by strengthening their sense of self, connection to family, and community engagement. 
4. Crisis Prevention works in partnership with clients to identify and overcome hurdles so they can live self-sufficiently in an economically struggling community. Crisis Prevention offers assistance with rent, housing placements, mortgages, utilities, and medical expenses.
5. The Food Bank Network of the San Luis Valley (FBNSLV) provides nutritious food through a coalition of 15 food pantries to address the immediacy of hunger and access to food in our local communities.
6. VEGI engages students and community members through connection with gardening, provides fresh produce for hunger relief efforts, and encourages healthy choices.
7. Street Outreach engages vulnerable individuals experiencing unsheltered homelessness, offering provisions to meet their immediate needs or connecting them with resources that will benefit their well-being.
