Love Notes: A Valentine's Auction for Everyone

Love Notes is the primary fundraiser for Tosco Music. Our goal is to raise $30,000 which will go directly to support our nonprofit mission and programs to build community through music in Charlotte and beyond. Together, we serve musicians of all ages and genres, support artists with access to spaces to create and perform, and provide access to the arts for underserved communities. 

• Since starting our music scholarship program, we've awarded more than $64,000 to help 135  youth and adult musicians further their skills, including 2026 winners! Many will be introduced at Booth Playhouse on Saturday, Feb 7 during Love Notes-A Valentine's Concert for Everyone.

• Each year we support hundreds of performances at our monthly, family-friendly open mic, including many musicians across the age spectrum who are bravely taking the stage for the first time. 

• We bring music into the community at approximately 100 activities and 30 locations throughout Charlotte each year, the majority are free and half for older adults in their communities. These performances provide paid opportunities for a wide variety of local musicians, hundreds each year.

• And we continue to bring the community together at Knight Theater to enjoy great variety and incredible talent at Tosco Music Parties. We celebrated our 100th TMP in April 2022, our 20th Tosco Music Beatles Tribute last year, and we marked our 10th annual Tosco Music Holiday Party in Dec!

Tosco Music is a nonprofit organization that relies on financial support from music-lovers like you! Proceeds from the silent auction help Tosco Music continue to enrich Charlotte's community through music!

Born from intimate living room jam sessions in Charlotte, NC in the mid-1980s, Tosco Music Parties have grown into popular community concerts where nationally recognized acts share the stage with undiscovered artists and audience members are invited to sing along throughout the evening. This season, we are celebrating more than 3 decades of Tosco Music Parties in Charlotte!

Tosco Music became a 501c3 nonprofit organization in 1999. From concerts and open mic nights to music scholarships and outreach, Tosco Music is dedicated to helping the community explore, develop and share their passion for music in all its forms.

Our vision is to develop into a sustainable asset within Charlotte’s cultural arts landscape so that Tosco Music Party’s and all of our community outreach programs can continue to grow and be enjoyed by future generations of Charlotteans for another 30 years and beyond.
