Paint the Night Away Fundraiser & Silent Auction

People Helping People opened an affordable non-profit childcare center to assist families with the care of their children while they work. Teaching preschool age children, The Learning Center at People Helping People prepares children for a school environment. People Helping People is very proud of the fact that the children that graduated from the program at The Learning Center were more prepared for school than their counterparts. Our organization is in the process of raising the funds to modify the center to accommodate more children; therefore reaching more families becoming a resource to the Polk County area. In order to help the organization raise funds and expand The Learning Center, we are planning a Paint the Night Away Fundraiser & Silent Auction that will be held on Friday, April 12, 2019. All the proceeds raised from the event will benefit People Helping People and the cost of modifying the center.

People Helping People is an organization founded to provide and comfort, without discrimination or monetary gain to anyone in their time of distress.

PHP has many programs encompassing the 15,000 square foot buildiing.

The Learning Center at People Helping People is a low-cost childcare center under the non-profit organization People Helping People. TLC provides a low-cost daycare option for parents/guardians in the rural Benton, TN area. We strive to be a place parents/guardians may bring their child/children and know they will learn and be in a safe environment.

Community Kitchen: Serves individuals and their families four days a week. Meals include 1 meat, 1 Vegetable, and Bread.

Clothing Distribution: Anyone can get a FREE bag of clothes each month. One shopping size bag per person. Persons must be present each month. (Bags are provided)

Crisis Room: Offers FREE assistance to those who have lost their home due to crisis such as: Natural Disaster, Fire, Loss of Job, Domestic Violence, Incarceration etc..We provide: personal hygiene items: shampoo, soap, toothbrush/paste. Household items: dishes, glasses, pots & pans, towels, sheets.

Medical Room: Helps with medical equipment and supplies. These are free to anyone who needs these items and can be a short term loan or permanent. We provide: Shower/Potty Chairs, Walkers, Canes, Adult Diapers, and other items as available.
