Library Friends Online Auction

The Friends of the Stoughton Public Library online silent auction fundraiser is a great way to support our community library. Local businesses, artisans, and members have donated items, classes and experiences. There's something for everyone and every budget! 

Helpful tips:

• The auction begins 10 am on Friday, Oct. 2. You can preview the auction before Oct. 2 and participate during the auction. It ends at 5 pm on Friday, Oct. 23.

• To bid on items, you need to create an account. You’ll be asked for a name, valid email address (which 32 Auctions will verify), your credit card information, and optionally a phone number.

• Providing a phone number allows you to be notified if you’re outbid, so you can choose to enter a higher bid.

• Your information is securely stored for the duration of the auction only. 32 Auctions never stores your complete card details on their servers, only an encrypted token that allows them to process payment if you win. Your information is automatically deleted after the auction ends.

• 32 Auctions provides charitable nonprofit organizations, like us, with free payment processing for items under $400. When you place a bid, you may be invited to make a small, optional contribution to support the platform that powers our auction. This is voluntary and 100% of your winning bid goes directly to the Friends, regardless of whether you contribute.

• Your card is charged only if you win an item. An email confirmation is sent letting you know which items you won and that the payment was successful.

The Friends of the Stoughton Public Library (Wisconsin) was established in 1984 as a 501(c) (3) charitable organization. We’re a group of dedicated members with a volunteer Board of Directors. Through the support of generous donors, members, local businesses and artisans, we raise thousands of dollars annually for our library to help support:

• Programs for children, teens and adults
• Kanopy movie streaming
• Large print and Lucky Day books
• Summer and winter reading programs
• Additions to the library collections
• Hoopla digital services: e-books, movies, TV shows
• New and updated technology
• Book Page subscription on new books and reviews
