LENS ON GAZA

This exhibition presents the work of Gaza photojournalist Rizek Abdel Jawad, whose photographs linger in the space between devastation and tenderness. Abdel Jawad traces the quiet gestures, fleeting intimacies, and enduring presence of the Palestinian people, who refuse to disappear. These images ask us to look beyond the spectacle of destruction and toward the lives that continue to unfold within it.
To photograph in Gaza is to bear witness against erasure. Abdel Jawad's work transforms the camera into an instrument of memory, preserving not only loss, but love, dignity, and the stubborn insistence of life.
