About Our Auction

In 1976, America’s iconic progressive rock band KANSAS released the album ‘Leftoverture,’ containing the smash hit and million-selling single Carry On Wayward Son.

With fan favorites such as The Wall, Miracles Out Of Nowhere, and What’s On My Mind, ‘Leftoverture,’ the band’s fourth, became the band’s breakthrough album. For KANSAS. ‘Leftoverture’ peaked at #5 on Billboard’s Album charts and reached sextuple-platinum status with more than 6 million copies sold.

In conjunction with the album’s 40th Anniversary, Paul Reed Smith commissioned and donated a one of a kind Commemorative ‘Leftoverture’ SE Custom 24 guitar. The Commemorative ‘Leftoverture’ SE Custom 24 is a quality guitar that is decorated by the classic ‘Leftoverture’ album artwork.

About Kansas Support Autism Research

I am a friend of and fan of the Progressive Rock band Kansas. The band supports Autism Free Brain (www.autismfreebrain.org) and because of my friendship with the members I get access to items that most fans won't have opportunity to get. My past items for auction were a shadowbox containing strings for Rich's Guitar, Billy's Bass, and Dave's Violin, Steve's hat (signed), and sticks from Phil. The centerpiece was a snare drum head signed by the band. My second auction was a violin signed by the entire band. My third auction was the bass drum heads from Phil's kit that the band signed and last year I auctioned symphony scores from the Always Never the Same album. 100% of the proceeds for my auctions go to Autism Free Brain. I make the donation each year to kick off the fundraiser! Please help us support this worthy cause.
