About Our Auction
For over 45 years, L’Arche Antigonish has been a beacon of positivity in our community, thanks to the kindness and support of people like you. Today, our community has five homes, one supervised apartment, three-day programs, and one youth summer camp.
While the Department of Opportunities and Social Development assists with basic needs, there are still vital aspects of community life that require additional funding. These include maintenance and upkeep for our community homes, capital and operational costs for our wheelchair-accessible van, extra food for community events, recruitment, training, and formation for caregivers within the L'Arche community, and essential supplies for our summer camp and day programs.
We remain ever grateful for the generosity and support of our friends, which has helped us grow and thrive over the years. Together, we can continue to build a vibrant and inclusive community where everyone feels valued and supported.

About L'Arche Antigonish
L'Arche Antigonish is a community located in Antigonish, Nova Scotia, where individuals with and without intellectual disabilities live together. Since 1979, L'Arche Antigonish has been providing services to more than 45 people with intellectual disabilities, with the help of a community of over 60 staff members, volunteers, and board members.
Our community consists of five homes (Covenant, Emmaus, Hope, Dixie, and Jubilee), and one supervised apartment, all of which are integrated into the core of Antigonish. At L'Arche, we believe that developing meaningful relationships and discovering our mutuality and interdependence is essential.
L'Arche offers three distinct daytime programs, Cornerstone, Horizons, and The Studio, and one youth summer camp that cater to the needs of people with intellectual disabilities as well as the wider community.
