KW Legacy presents, the 2020 St. Jerome's Alumni Tournament!
Established in 2014 the KW Legacy’s first initiative “Golf for Scholarships” (GFS) program has raised over $430,000 delivering 55 scholarships and $319,500 to deserving students within Waterloo Region. Legacy Scholarship recipients enrich the lives of others by demonstrating elite community leadership skills and we firmly believe these young women and men will be the future leaders of our community. To further these ends, KW Legacy continues to work with scholarship recipients in an ongoing mentoring role.
The first Legacy class in 2016 had 8 students. With the generous support of our sponsors, 12 more scholarships were awarded in 2017, 11 in 2018, 13 in 2019 and 11 in 2020. Legacy is currently fundraising for its 2021 class aiming to raise in excess of $80,000 at the September golf tournament. Scholarship applications will open in January 2021. Join us for an exciting day at Conestoga Golf Club at what has-quickly-become one of Waterloo Region’s premier tournaments. We will do our best to accommodate everyone but registration will be based on a first-come-first-served basis… so encourage your friends to register early!
