KVHS Class of 2020 Safe Grad

All funds raised will be used for Kennebecasis Valley High School's 2020 Grad Class Safe Grad. This is a safe, sober, chaperoned event for KVHS's 2020 Graduates. Traditionally, this overnight event would be held at the school after the graduation ceremony. Graduates enjoy a variety of fun activities and entertainment as well as be fed throughout the night. With graduation plans in flux due to Covid-19, the exact plans for our event are TBD, but we are continuing our fundraising to ensure our grads are celebrated when it is safe and the time is appropriate.

Safe Grad began as a community initiative in the Kennebecasis Valley more than 25 years ago with the aim to keep our Grade 12 students safe as they celebrate together on the night of their graduation.

A committee comprised of parents and school staff has been busy planning this Safe, sober and chaperoned event which was scheduled to take place overnight on Friday, June 19th, 2020 at the school following the graduation ceremonies.

With the Covid-19 crisis, we are not sure what the graduation ceremony will look like or when or where it will be. While it is unlikely that Safe Grad will follow its traditional structure, the Safe Grad Committee is continuing to raise funds for the Safe Grad or similar event where our Grads can celebrate their achievements.

As you can imagine, an event of this size requires support and commitment of our entire community.
