Kukua Foundation is a small but determined organisation founded by women who believe that where a girl is born should never decide how far she can go.


“Kukua” means “to grow up” in Swahili. Through scholarships for girls in rural Kenya, we create the opportunity for them to grow up with the best possible chance of leading exceptional lives — for themselves, their families and their communities.
