'Her'

I created this piece when thinking about a different project I am currently working on. I am putting together a play from a collection of stories about rape and sexual abuse.
This particular painting represents the stigma attached when someone opens up about sexual abuse and the shame they might feel.
This also ties in nicely with one of the tasks on my #40things before40, 'sell a piece of art'.

That brings me to the auction. I have three pieces of artwork which I am auctioning off for charity. The proceeds for this particular piece, 'Her', will go to Rape Crisis England and Wales.

I am auctioning off 3 pieces of my artwork to raise funds for their respective charities.

I created these within the last 9 months and it ties in nicely with my own personal aim of selling a piece of art before I turn 40!

My chosen charities are 'Age Uk', 'Mind', and 'Rape Crisis England and Wales'.
