About Our Auction

On Monday, May 6, 2019 Congregation Kol Ami will come together for the celebration of our 95th year! Together we fundraise knowing that there were those who planted the seeds before us, and that we must plant the seeds for generations to come.

AUCTION BIDDING TIPS

There are two ways to bid:

1) BID AS AN INDIVIDUAL: Place a bid on a item. When someone else places a bid you will receive an email that you have been outbid. You can return to the auction to increase your bid. OR you can bypass the process by inputting your PROXY BID which is the maximum amount you want to bid! If you have chosen to place a proxy bid, the system will bid for you each time you are out bid (using the minimum bid increment listed) until your maximum bid is reached. Once you have reached your maximum/proxy bid you will get an email so that you can keep going at your discretion.

2) BID TOGETHER IN GROUPS: Many of the auction items are opportunities for groups of people. Create a bidding group, set a max amount per person bid, and assign one person to do your bidding. That’s how many of the winners in past years have won the larger prizes!! If you need help bidding as a group, send us a note at SpringFundraiser@nykolami.org and we are happy to help walk you through it. We will ensure that tax letters will be issued for each person in the group.

Check each listing for minimum bid increments and for details and availability. If you need help with on-line bidding please contact Judy Sarch, judysarch@gmail.com.

Questions? Please don’t hesitate to ask.
Send us an email at SpringFundraiser@nykolami.org with your questions and the best number to use to call you.

About Kol Ami Early Childhood Program

Congregation Kol Ami’s Early Childhood Program is dedicated to nurturing young minds and providing an engaging, Jewish, child-centered, joyful community.

We believe children learn best through play and exploration, and our developmentally-appropriate curriculum fosters learning through meaningful experiences and guided activity. Our welcoming classrooms are set up in centers that encourage children to engage in activities of interest, including art, manipulative toys, puzzles, dramatic play, blocks, transportation, animals, musical instruments, and books. We recognize and respect each child’s unique qualities and strive to foster their growth in all areas of development: cognitive, physical, social, and emotional.

We offer families the assurance of a safe, caring, and nurturing environment for their children and a community of support and understanding for themselves.

We view children as eager and capable learners. We respect children for who they are now, as well as for their potential. Learning is incorporated in all aspects of our day through meaningful experiences and hands-on activities that foster curiosity and a sense of self and community.
