All proceeds from this charity auction will go directly to Jill Mack to help subsidize her cost of living while in treatment and recovery for stage 4 melanoma.

Jill Mack is known about town as an incredible sound technician, badass musician, and solid friend. Musicians and artists and organizers across the city and province and country have had the absolute pleasure of working alongside Jill – a consummate professional and supreme human.
The pandemic hit artists and technicians extremely hard – work has been sparse and difficult to come by. On top of having her industry eviscerated, Jill has recently developed stage 4 melanoma. It has metastasized to her liver and lung. As a result of this, Jill is unable to work in any industry, much less live music.
Jill is currently living alone in her house, where she pays rent. She has a studio in her basement that she loves, and a dog called Annie to take care of. We don’t want her to have to lose her house, studio, and independence. Since COVID currently adds a huge extra risk to Jill, continuing to live independently is the safest option. The money raised would go towards rent, bills, food, treatment, transportation, and possibly a care aide.
Those who love and cherish Jill are now asking her community for support through the coming months of treatment and recovery. A huge stressor during this time is finances and we’re hoping to alleviate that with financial assistance.
