23rd Annual Photography Exhibit & Benefit Auction

ABOUT THE AUCTION

In-Sight Photography Project's Annual Benefit Auction supports our student scholarship fund which makes it possible for In-Sight to provide financially accessible after-school arts programming for all.

The Auction is a very special event where a broad community of artists and In-Sight supporters come together to showcase the wide breadth of creativity and vision present in the photo world. It would not be possible without the hundreds of artists who donate their work, nor would it be possible without the hundreds of bidders who come to buy the work.

A message from board member, Hilary Baker:

During the last twenty or so years, I have watched the program grow and evolve as I worked with students and staff at Marlboro College, where we actively partnered with In-Sight. I have also been proud to support the program by donating pieces of artwork to Insight's Annual Photography Auction. Now, in my new role as a board member I invite you to join me in supporting this outstanding fundraising event.

In-Sight's Annual Photography Auction is a win-win for everyone involved. We all want to support our community, especially in the face of the isolation and polarization that confront us these days. I believe In-Sight provides just the kind of healing our community deserves by empowering youth to see and describe their world with a discerning and empathetic eye, aided by an understanding of cultural heritages."

BIDDING

Bidding will open Friday, September 3 at 5:00PM and continue through 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 26th.

You may create your profile on 32 Auctions at anytime. No need to wait until bidding opens.

All bidding takes place online and is therefore open to bidders all over the world. Generally starting bids are set at 25% of the Fair Market Value of the item.

If you don’t want to risk missing your favorite piece, take advantage of the “Buy it Now” option that will be available for all items.

THE EXHIBITION

Due to Covid restrictions, In-Sight will exhibit a curated selection of auction photographs at our facility at 183 Main Street in downtown Brattleboro. We encourage you to stop in to see this collection in person during Gallery Walk on September 3rd or by appointment throughout the month of September.

WHAT YOUR BID SUPPORTS

The Auction supports In-Sight Photography Project’s scholarship fund which makes it possible for In-Sight to provide its programs to all young people, regardless of their family's ability to pay.
