Indianola Informal PTO Carnival Silent Auction

We know you're excited about the Indianola Carnival on Friday, May 10th and you have every intention to visit the Silent Auction to support the fundraising efforts of the PTO while you're there. Have you gotten side tracked in the past? Do you have little ones that you couldn't quite talk into visiting the silent auction because the bounce houses and cotton candy were calling? Maybe you ended up working two extra shifts in the dunk tank, or maybe you just can't wait for the live silent auction! This is your chance to bid on items from the comfort of your own home!

Parent involvement is an essential part of Indianola Informal K-8. The Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) organizes an ice cream social in September, a Wellness Week in the fall, a Read-A-Thon in the winter, and a Carnival in the spring, as well as other activities throughout the year. The PTO provides financial support for students in many ways – for example, the PTO sponsored this year's artists in residence that are creating the mural, assisted with the set-up of the makers space for the middle school, purchased the curtains in the auditorium, academic and supplementary educational materials, and regularly paid for buses for field trips. The PTO hosts monthly general business meetings, arranges quarterly meetings on topics of interest and importance to parents, and sponsors a high school fair in the winter.
