Illuminating Hope 2022
Navigating a safe way out of an abusive relationship can be paralyzing. Many Henderson House clients reach out for our services in the darkest moments of their life. Our advocates and staff, many of whom are also survivors, meet our clients in these familiar dark moments and offer the light of hope through confidential 1-on-1 support, 24-hour crisis response, 30-day emergency shelter, safety plan assistance, resource referral, support groups, and court accompaniment. This work of illuminating hope is vital, life changing, life saving, and ongoing.
October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. I invite you to show your support of Henderson House this month by bidding on packages in our online auction (Mon., 10/17 @ 8:15am – Fri., 10/28 @ 8pm). All proceeds go to support the work of Henderson House.
We are so grateful for your support and for all of our Illuminating Hope event partners.
With gratitude,
Nancy Perez-Flores
