Hospice Cup 2021 Auction - 40th Anniversary

Hospice Cup Annapolis is a 501(c)(3) organization founded in 1981 to help local and regional hospices raise funds for patient programs that are not otherwise funded by private insurance, Medicare or Medicaid. Those programs include grief counseling, the need for which has become especially pointed during the Covid-19 pandemic. Hospice Cup Annapolis strives to bring awareness to hospice programs. Hospice Cup Annapolis serves the Chesapeake region (including Anne Arundel County, Prince Georges County, Montgomery County, Talbot County, and much of Northern Virginia, and parts of the District of Columbia). Proceeds of the auction will be distributed to participating hospices.

Hospice Cup, Inc is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to raising funds for and awareness of hospice care in the Chesapeake Bay region.

We do this by hosting an annual sailing regatta near Annapolis, Maryland. Hospice Cup offers several other opportunities to get involved, including various happy hours and socials leading up to the big race. We also have a Spectator Boat to watch the races and host a Shore Party after the races. As in 2020, we will not be holding the Shore Party in 2021, and our auction is being held virtually (online). However, there will be an opportunity to pick up auction items at a post-race gathering at Horn Point Marina in Annapolis (Eastport).
