In the name of Jesus Christ, Christian Community Action ministers to the poor by providing comprehensive services that alleviate suffering, bring hope and change lives.

For nearly 50 years, CCA has led the way for people living in poverty. Our holistic approach from rescue to transition helps families in need achieve self-sufficiency by offering a “hand up” instead of a hand-out. The families we serve are guided through three phases of our programming; rescue, relief, and restoration; to fulfill our commitment to help them achieve self-sufficiency. Rescue provides for the immediate, critical needs through our Crisis Management Services. This includes Financial Assistance to prevent homelessness and the Food Pantry to feed the hungry. Relief provides for the specific needs of children through our Kids Eat Free, Back to School, Christmas Cheer programs; and our Golden Angels program serves senior citizens and their specific needs. Restoration provides for the educational needs of our community through essential life skills training, financial management, job readiness assistance, and spiritual care.
