About Our Auction

Welcome to AHAM's Hispanic Heritage Festival Silent Auction. The action will open on Sep 19 at 5 pm.

AHAM began celebrating the Hispanic Heritage Month in 1998 at the Greer-Jean M. Smith Public Library by showcasing folkloric dresses, traditional food and artistic displays . Since then, AHAM has taken its festival to different venues in Greenville county such as Furman University, the Hughes Greenville Library, and more recently, McAlister Square.

The Hispanic Heritage Festival is currently the largest fundraiser for AHAM, as members bring regional desserts and savory dishes to share. Members also perform artistic presentations from various Latin American countries.

In 2020 AHAM will be hosting this annual event ONLINE due to Covid restrictions.

About AHAM

We are AHAM (in English, people pronounce that "ey-ham") -- the Hispanic-American Women's Association. We are a group of hard-working women who are passionate about education and culture. All of us are committed to helping the Hispanic population achieve a better future through higher education--and we make it all happen through the magic of volunteerism! We've raised more than a quarter million dollars and helped over 120 students go to college. Through the events and initiatives we support and lead, we promote the culture and traditions of different Spanish-speaking countries.
