If you'd like to place an online bid Thurs-Sat, please email Heidi @ firstname.lastname@example.org with Item #.
Habitat for Humanity of Greater Lowell is celebrating 25 years of building affordable homes! Habitat for Humanity International is ranked as the 6th largest homebuilder in the world and Habitat for Humanity of Greater Lowell has a 3-star rating from Charity Navigator!
The ReStore it! Ultimate UpCycle Challenge aims to remind people that, with a little creativity, what was old can be new again—perhaps even better than it once was!
We are humbled by the tremendous response of the 8-10 creative people who have donated their time, talent and treasures to support this challenge and our mission. For the past two months, they have all been very busy repurposing & refinishing homegoods from our ReStore, and are now donating these items to be auctioned off with 100% of proceeds supporting Habitat for Humanity of Greater Lowell’s programming and home build projects.
Our motivation for this type of event is four-fold:
* Bring attention to reducing household goods in the waste stream
* Create awareness about repurposing
* Bring people into our ReStore, 440 Middlesex Rd, Tyngsboro to see what we do...and...
* Last, but not least, create community, excitement and fun!
Our goal for the 1st Annual Ultimate UpCycled Challenge Silent Auction is to raise $750-1,000 for all the bathroom fixtures for our current home rehab project at 3 Dalton St, Lowell for our newest partner family, The Kawaya's.
HAVE FUN BIDDING to HELP THE BUILD HOPE & HOMES! When the auction goes live the link to it will be posted on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and our website. SHARING the link and helping to spread the word to your friends, family, customers will be a huge help in meeting our goal!
