Here & Now

'Here & Now' is a fundraising exhibition to raise money for Cornwall Museum & Art Gallery's dementia programme which supports some of the most vulnerable people in our community. 

 So much of living with dementia is about focusing on what is lost but lives are still being lived with love, laughter, and connection. In this exhibition, 52 artists have donated an artwork responding to the theme of Here & Now. 

 All the artwork in the exhibition is currently anonymous and will only be revealed after the auction is finished. 

We hope this auction will raise £4,000, which alongside in-kind support from the museum, will keep our Monday morning group running for one year. This group was started in 2022 and last year, our waiting list was so long that we sought funding to start an afternoon group. So, in reality we need £8,000 to keep both groups running. Meanwhile, the waiting list continues to grow…..

Cornwall Museum and Art Gallery is home to more than a million objects.
