Helen O. Krause Animal Foundation Online Auction

PURPOSE: The purpose of this auction is to raise funds to cover medical care for our animals such as spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations and preventative care, emergency care and improvements and maintenance to our building and grounds.

New features added to this auction this year are as follows:

1. EXTENDED BID-If a bid is made on an item during the final 3 minutes of the auction, the item time will be extended to allow for 3 additional minutes of bidding on this item. This process will repeat continually for a maximum 30 minutes beyond the original auction end time.

2. PROXY BID-A proxy bid allows you to enter the maximum amount you are willing to spend with the goal of winning the item at the lowest possible price. The system will bid for you in minimum bid increments, up to your maximum proxy bid amounts, as additional bids are entered on the item.

INSTRUCTIONS: THE FOLLOWING SETS FORTH THE TERMS FOR THE HELEN O. KRAUSE ANIMAL FOUNDATION INC. (HOKAFI) ONLINE AUCTION. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO MODIFY OR CHANGE THESE CONDITIONS.

All bidders must create an account with 32auctions to bid on items listed.

Bidding begins on Sunday, September 18, 2022 at 8:00 A.M. EST. Bids submitted before this time will not be honored. Bidding will end Sunday, September 25, 2022 at 9:00 P.M. EST. Bids submitted after that time will not be honored.

Any issues with bidding or bid amounts placed accidentally must be sent to the auction staff at hokafiauction@gmail.com within 24 hours of the occurrence. Bid carefully.

Bids below the starting bid will not be accepted. Winning bidders will be notified via email and winning bid will be displayed online utilizing an anonymous ID and high bid amount.

Payments may be made by cash, check or money order (at the time of pickup), credit card (Visa/MasterCard, American Express and Discover), or PayPal. Credit card payment will be accepted at the time of pickup as well as prior to pickup via the website. (NOTE: HOKAFI has a returned check policy that will be applied to any returned checks.)

We reserve the right to accept or reject a bid by any bidder for any reason. We are not responsible for any inaccuracies or omissions contained within this website.

Placing a bid constitutes acceptance of the above terms.

PICKUP/SHIPPING INSTRUCTIONS: All items must be picked up at the Helen O. Krause shelter location at 813 S Baltimore St., Dillsburg PA 17019 on September 30 2022 or October 1,2, 2022 at the following times:

Friday, September 30, 2022 from 3:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.

Saturday, October 1, 2022 from 9:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M.

Sunday, October 2, 2022 from 1:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M.

Gift cards and gift certificates only will be mailed if not picked up during the designated pick-up time if mailing address is provided. If unable to pick up during these times, please contact an auction administrator at hokafiauction@gmail.com.

The Helen O. Krause Animal Foundation, Inc. (HOKAFI) is a non-profit, no-kill animal shelter for dogs and cats located in Dillsburg, Pennsylvania. The shelter is run primarily by a dedicated corps of volunteers and governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. The Foundation depends entirely on the private sector for funding through donations, membership dues, grants and fundraising activities.
