GSHS Art Chair Auction

This fundraising auction is an exciting collaboration between our Greensburg Salem High School Art Department, the SHOP GREENSBURG- Greensburg's Business & Professional Organization, and the Westmoreland Cultural Trust.

THE CAUSE:
Proceeds from the auction will support a great cause, the "Greensburg Salem H.S. National Art Honor Society & Art Club". Funds will be used for field trips, art supplies, NAHS awards, and exhibition opportunities.

THE PROJECT:
Greensburg Salem High School artists created and donated their original ART chairs for this Fundraiser. They researched and planned their chair's theme, then painted it with love for you to enjoy.  

Disclaimer: Although these reclaimed chairs were power washed, sanded, then painted with high-quality acrylics & paint pens, and were spray varnished, they are art objects that were intended for decorative use only.  They were not made with commercial-grade inks/paints, so they are not intended for extended exposure to the elements or everyday wear and tear.

The Greensburg Salem High School Art Department is committed to providing all our students with rich opportunities to study, create, exhibit, discuss, and reflect upon their artwork and the work of others. We always want to build community relationships with local businesses, non-profits, and institutions. Our vision is to demonstrate the relevance of the arts in all of our lives.
