The Greer Community Center is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization. We predominately pay our bills using the donations we receive as a result of the public's generosity. The success of our annual auction is critical to provide the majority of the funds we need to pay our annual bills. Given the COVID-19 pandemic we've been forced to transition our 2020 auction away from a "Live Auction" to a "Virtual, Online Auction". We are so appreciative of our donors to this "Phase 1" auction! The Greer Arizona Community Center is the "Hub" of the tiny mountain village of Greer. Nestled at 8,500 feet in the Eastern White Mountains of Arizona, Greer is a vacation destination year round, particularly during the summer months when the temperatures in the desert often exceed 105 degrees F. During those times it is not uncommon for the Greer temperatures to be in the 70's and 80's! In providing activities for the Greer community, including the month long Winter Wonderland celebration as well as the annual Arizona Game & Fish Commissioner's meeting, the Greer Community Center predominately survives on donations, including all of these items being auctioned. As a 501(c)(3) tax exempt charity your donations to or purchases from the Greer Community Center may be tax deductible for you.
