A Light in the Dark Silent Auction

Thank you for supporting the first silent auction benefiting the Community of Hope: Fayette County Suicide Prevention Coalition, as part of A Light in the Dark Glow Walk.

All proceeds will benefit the Youth Comfort Care Bags initiative.  
The bags contain coping tools and resources for youth facing crisis or difficulty. These bags contain mindfulness, regulation, and sensory materials such as journals, fidgets, a coloring book, and more. They are designed for grades 3-8 and distributed locally to schools and youth-serving organizations. 

 The Fayette County Suicide Prevention Coalition, or the Community of Hope, is a community partnership dedicated to promoting mental wellness, preventing suicide, supporting survivors, and connecting residents with resources and support. We serve as the mental health task force and suicide prevention coalition for Fayette County, Ohio.

The coalition brings together healthcare providers, first responders, businesses, social service agencies, faith communities, and community members who believe that improving the mental health of the community and preventing suicide is everyone’s responsibility.

Through education, outreach, support services, and community events, we work to create a Fayette County where every person knows they matter and help is available.

Meetings are open to everyone and are currently held on the third Thursday of every month except July and December. We meet at 12:30 PM in the meeting room at Fayette County Public Health, 317 S. Fayette Street, Washington Court House, Ohio 43160.
