As the world changed over the past year, so has our annual Charity Golf Tournament. What hasn't changed, is our commitment to support our charity recipient, The Centre for Child Development. Now more than ever, our communities and the organizations that provide vital services, need our support.

Funds raised from the G&F Financial Group 2021 Golf Fundraiser will go towards the Telehealth/Virtual Therapy Program at the Centre for Child Development.

For over 65 years, The Centre for Child Development has been inspired by the extraordinary strength, courage and determination of children with special needs. The children they serve are medically fragile and many have compromised immune systems.

With the outbreak of COVID-19, they are at heightened risk and will be in prolonged isolation. The Centre’s goal is to safely continue providing therapeutic treatments, ensuring children are able to maintain their progress.

The Telehealth/Virtual Therapy Program ensures that families and therapists have the technology and equipment to monitor progress and provide virtual therapies, including laptops, tablets and specialized software. Virtual therapy enables staff to visually see rehabilitative progress and offer corrective feedback.
