About Our Auction

Run in conjunction with the Green City Market's Junior Board's annual fundraising event, "A (Mostly) Veggie Affair" being held on Friday, October 2nd, at Moonlight Studios in West Loop, the Green City Market's online auction provides bidders with one-of-a-kind experiences from the Chicago restaurant community!

Proceeds from "A (Mostly) Veggie Affair" go specifically toward the GCM's Link Card Assistance Program, which matches dollar for dollar, purchases made by customers using their Link Card (Illinois' Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), formerly 'Food Stamps') at the market. This initiative increases the affordability and accessibility of healthy, nutritious and sustainably produced foods to low-income Chicagoans, while supporting small agricultural producers and bolstering the local economy.

This year, our goal is to raise $20,000 through our online auction to support the educational and outreach programs of Green City Market, a 501(c)3 charitable organization.

These auction packages are truly one-of-a-kind and you won't find these experiences anywhere else. So please, bid early, bid often and remember all proceeds go to support Green City Market!
