Art Jam '23 Auction Sponsored by Edward Jones

Our purpose is to raise money for a scholarship endowment. Scholarships are awarded annually to students pursuing creative fields. We strive to increase our scholarship quantity each year while also saving money to invest in the endowment.

In January of 2021, a group of creative friends got together to plan an arts festival in their town. Their goal was to raise awareness of the arts, create an opportunity for local artists to showcase and sell their work, and raise money for a scholarship for students pursuing the arts. Eighteen months later, the 501(c)(3) nonprofit now known as the Greenbrier Area Arts Council was born. As of 2023, $4,500 in scholarships have been awarded to students pursuing creative fields. The fairytale continues as we partner with our community to help make aspiring artists' dreams come true!

Mission: To serve and unite our community by cultivating creativity through connection, cultivation, and celebration of the arts.

Vision: To foster community belonging through the arts by developing educational opportunities, creating artistic spaces, and bringing art-inspired events to Greenbrier and beyond.
