About Our Auction
Galerie Old Chelsea is committed to giving back to its community, which has supported the Galerie for thirty years! Due to Covid, many women and families find themselves in home situations that are harmful and unsafe. The Maison is a community home which allows these women to find a safe haven during a very difficult times and transition in their lives.
The group of artists have donated a piece of art in several mediums in order to raise funds to support the Maison Libere-Elles. All proceeds will go to this cause and all art is generously donated from each artist.
About Galerie Old Chelsea
Galerie Old Chelsea, located in Chelsea , Quebec is an artist owned and operated gallery. Each artist shows their work throughout the year. Also, the gallery features guest artists each month, chosen from a juried panel to hold a three-week guest artist show. This year, we are celebrating thirty years in business! We want to thank our community and visitors for supporting local business and the arts. All of the proceeds of this auction will be supporting the Maison Libère-Elles which supports women and children in our area needing a safe place to live.
La Galerie Old Chelsea, située à Chelsea, Québec, est une galerie exploitée par des artistes. Chaque artiste expose son travail tout au long de l'année. En outre, la galerie présente des artistes invités chaque mois, choisis parmi un jury afin de monter un solo de trois semaines. Cette année, nous célébrons trente ans en affaires! Nous tenons à remercier notre communauté et nos visiteurs pour leur soutien des arts. Toutes les recettes de cette vente aux enchères seront versés en entier à la Maison Libère-Elles qui soutient les femmes et les enfants de notre région qui ont besoin d'un endroit sûr pour vivre.
