Fuse Literary Auction for Unite Against Book Bans

This March, Fuse Literary is celebrating 11 wonderful years of actively building the future of publishing while giving back to our wonderful community of readers and writers. This year, our founding partners Laurie McLean and Gordon Warnock are generously donating an hour of their time to connect 1-on-1 with the lucky winners via phone or Zoom. 100% of the proceeds go to the ALA’s Unite Against Book Bans campaign.

About Unite Against Book Bans:

Unite Against Book Bans is a national initiative to empower readers everywhere to stand together in the fight against censorship.

On both sides of the aisle, large majorities of voters and parents oppose book bans. 71% of voters oppose efforts to remove books from public libraries, and 67% of voters oppose efforts to remove books from school libraries.

And yet, attempts to ban books from libraries continue to rise at an unprecedented level across the country. The American Library Association reported 1,269 attempts to censor library books and resources in 2022, the highest number of attempted book bans since ALA began compiling data about censorship in libraries more than 20 years ago.
