VGI Fruity Nutty Affair 2016

What if you could pick peaches from your backyard, and trade them for pears from your neighbor's?

What if the vacant lot on your block was transformed into a vibrant, food-producing orchard where neighborhood kids could pick fresh fruit all summer long?

That is the vision we're turning into reality, all through funds raised at the Fruity Nutty Affair on February 20, 2016, at Villa Filomena. Five neighborhoods will win up to 30 fruit and nut producing plants each for their communities. We're raising $6,000 through our silent auction to make it happen!

Join us for an evening of jubilation, celebration, and FOOD! Together, we will support the planting of five new community food forests in our beloved MKE. Come to raise a toast and an urban orchard!

Our 6th annual celebration starts at 6:00 p.m. with complimentary cocktail hour and a half! Enjoy small plates and heavy hors d'oeuvres, followed by a presentation of the Fruity Nutty 5 winners, live auction, photo booth and so much Fruity-Nutty fun.
