FPC Dallas - Youth Silent Auction

Summer trips and youth conferences are full of fun and a crucial faith formation opportunity for young people. At youth conferences, teenagers can build connections with each other and adults in the body of Christ through recreation, worship, small groups, and keynote gatherings. Getting away allows students to explore their gifts and deepen their faith as children of God and members of the beloved community. The cost for these events can be an obstacle for many families, especially as we plan to travel to Montreat Youth Conference in the mountains of western North Carolina this summer.

The Youth Ministry at FPC Dallas gives opportunities for young people (grades 6-12) to deepen their faith, serve their neighbors near and far, ask questions, study Scripture, and play, pray, and grow together as disciples of Christ.

As youth and adults, we respond to the gift of God’s grace and love as we strive to grow deeper in our faith, be fully inclusive and affirming, and serve our neighbors. We are called to be the church, to be Christ’s hands and feet in the world, living our lives as disciples of Christ, remaining firmly connected to each other in this congregation, to the PC(USA) and to our community.
