Ultralight Fly Fishing Veterans Fundraiser

In conjunction with a meet-up of ultralight fly fishing enthusiasts from Central Texas and around the country, members of the UltralightFlyFishing.com community are raising money for two outstanding veteran service organizations -- Heroes on the Water and Veteran Outdoors. Both non-profits provide therapeutic outdoor recreation opportunities for veterans with both visible and invisible wounds of war. 100 percent of auction proceeds (minus any card transaction fees) will be split evenly between the two organizations.

Members of UltralightFlyFishing.com, a community of small rod and small water enthusiasts, will be hosting a Central Texas Meet-Up in Georgetown, TX, Sept. 22-24, 2017. As part of this event, we are raising money for Veteran Outdoors (www.Veteran-Outdoors.com) and Heroes on the Water (www.HeroesOnTheWater.org), two terrific non-profits serving wounded warriors by providing therapeutic outdoor recreation opportunities. Mesquite Creek Outfitters, on the historic Georgetown square, will host a wrap-up party (Live music! Food truck! Craft beer!) Sunday, Sept. 24, beginning at 11 a.m. This silent auction ends at 12 noon and winners will be announced (and auction items distributed) shortly thereafter. Need not be present to win.
