About Our Auction
Brighten the Holidays and bid on a fully decorated tree!
Join us for hot cocoa, cookie decorating and a chance to bid on 15 festive trees decorated by OSU student clubs, campus units and Corvallis businesses!
Place and monitor bids online starting at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 2. The tree auction will run through Thursday, Dec. 4 at 5 p.m., so don't forget to mind the bidding on your favorite(s).
Please note that tree photos will not be added to listings until the afternoon of Tuesday, Dec. 2 — as soon as our decorators have finished working their magic!
This year will feature our largest ever lineup of themed trees by our amazing crew of decorators! Don’t miss the chance to see these sensationally seasonal themes come to life and bring home some holiday magic for a good cause.
Trees have been generously donated by Starker Forests, Inc. All proceeds go to the College of Forestry's student food pantry, Rootstock.

Fully-decorated auctioned trees will be available for pick-up on Friday, December 5 from 12pm to 7pm in the OSU Peavy Forest Science Center, first floor atrium.
You must pay at the time of pickup via cash or check payable to OSU Foundation, Attn: CoF Student Emergency Fund (Rootstock). Online payment options will also be available onsite.
Trees do not come with stands or the rolling base. To keep the tree stand, an additional $40 charge will be added to the final bid price.
**We recommend winners bring packing materials for ornaments and securing trees to personal vehicles**

PROCEEDS FROM THE FIRS FOR FOOD SECURITY FUNDRAISER GO DIRECTLY TO FUNDING THE ROOTSTOCK FOOD PANTRY
The rising cost of living has forced students on the margins to skip meals to make ends meet. To support College of Forestry students and fight food insecurity, the college established the Rootstock food pantry in 2022. Rootstock is staffed by college staff and faculty volunteers on a weekly basis during the academic year. Rootstock provides access to fresh foods, pantry staples, hygiene and cleaning supplies, as well as other helpful resources.
Rootstock will not be open for visitors during the Firs for Food Security event, but if you're interested in learning more about this valuable program, please stop by a Show Information booth and our volunteers will do their best to answer your questions. Or visit our website to learn more about the Rootstock strategic plan or to make a direct donation.
