About Our Auction

This year The Final Farewell will be transitioning our Annual Celebration of Life Fundraiser and Dinner into an online auction and Virtual Celebration of Life Awards and Fundraiser. Funds raised from the auction and live event will benefit families in need of funeral and burial assistance. Items will be added daily to this website until August 14th when bidding will begin at 5 am. There may be additional items added after the 14th. Check back daily to see if any new items are added. The auction will close at the end of our live event on August 20th.

Several items will be specifically auctioned to benefit Lyle's Project. Lyle's Project is a project that assists terminally ill patients with no family or resources to pay for final arrangements. We will help with the patient and the assistance of any friends or loved ones that they wish to be involved in the planning and we will pay for the arrangements as well as find other resources. Occasionally, if a patient has a family we will assist to bring the family to the patient so that they are not alone at the time of death. The program was named in honor or a young man who lost his life to complications of AIDS in the late 80's.

If you don't find something to bid on but want to donate, you can donate through this site! check out the donate button on the upper right-hand corner!

During the live Zoom event on August 20th, we will be raffling masks made by Stow Al-Large City Councilwoman Christina Shaw! You must register for the live event to have a chance to win! It's FREE! Just click on this link! https://us02web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_XUkqGemqSFSSfW4LCdOr6w
