Family Promise of Montgomery is a shelter program for homeless families that have minor children. Families in need come to us for help after evictions, family break ups, tragedies and many other reasons. One thing EVERY one of our families has in common? They are going through a very difficult time and we are here to help and provide them hope for a better future.

Family Promise of Montgomery is one of over 200 affiliates across 39 states. Our mission is to engage people of faith to support and empower homeless families as they return to stability. Family Promise of Montgomery unites the interfaith community and local resources to help homeless children and their families return to stability.

Through intensive case management, we work to help each individual who turns to us for assistance identify and overcome the barriers causing them to become homeless. We connect our guests to community and housing resources that help them leave shelter and live successfully in our community.

Housing is the solution to ending homelessness. Helping families feel comfortable through our hospitality program and move into permanent housing with dignity is essential to what we do!
