2018 ERCHA STALLION AUCTION

The bidder with the high bid commits to purchase the breeding. The high bidder is entitled to get the semen of the respective stallion for the breeding season 2018.

Rules for Ercha stallions auction:

Delivery: The stallion owner or representative will send breeding contract directly to the winning bidder. The stallion owner or representative will be contacted with the winning bidder’s contact information within two (2) business days of payment clearing the European Reined Cow Horse Association office.

Terms of Sale: You are bidding for one (1) 2024 breeding contract donated to European Reined Cow Horse Association by the stallion owner/agent for the 2024 ERCHA Stallion Service Auction. This contract is not transferable to any other mare owner and is for the 2024 breeding year only. The contract is for the cooled shipped semen breeding fee only. Frozen Semen fees/international shipping expenses are NOT included.
Additional charges to Mare Owner will apply for any requests for frozen semen. The mare owner/bidder will be responsible to pay any and all charges/fees related to the execution of this contract, including but not limited to: Veterinarian fees, chute fees, booking fees, shipped semen fees, mare care, insemination charges, and all other expenses, to the stallion owner/agent. Accidents, illness or any mishap concerning the mare named in the contract are the responsibility of the Mare Owner. The ERCHA is not responsible for any cost, expenses, and/or charges related to the execution of the breeding contract by the breeding facility not contained or recorded in this contract.
ERCHA’s involvement in and responsibility for the 2024 ERCHA STALLION SERVICE AUCTION terminates upon transfer of this contract to the mare owner/bidder. Mare Owner shall contact the stallion owner/agent and be responsible for any and all additional charges and fees to execution of this contract.
Breeding arrangements will be made between the stallion owner/agent and the purchaser. There will be no refunds. ERCHA’s involvement in, and responsibility for, the ERCHA Stallion Service Program terminates, except as otherwise provided in this agreement, upon transfer of breeding to the Mare Owner. The stallion owner/agent shall supply the appropriate documentation to facilitate the registration of the resulting foal according to the appropriate breed registry. Only one embryo transfer will be recognized per contract. A live foal is guaranteed only to the extent of one return breeding the following year (the same or substitute mare), and then only by the initial owner of this contract.

Bidding: Bidding specific to European Reined Cow Horse Association Stallion Auction will open January 14, 2024 at 3:00 PM CET and will close February 04, 2024 at 3:00 PM CET as listed on the Website. Any breedings that remain unsold at the conclusion of the auction will be offered at Buy Now Prices. Bids will increase in increments of €50. If a bid is placed in error, ERCHA makes no representations whether the bid may be reversed or deleted. If a bid is placed within the last three (3) minutes of the countdown to close of bidding, the clock will reset with three (3) additional minutes added and the countdown to close of bidding will restart. Bidding will close only after a three (3) minute interval passes without any additional bids being placed. Bidding may be accomplished by placing individual bids or by placing confidential, maximum bids where the bidder declares the maximum euro amount they are willing to bid, and the computer will incrementally increase the bid on the bidder’s behalf according to the parameters set by the bidder until the close of the auction or when the bidding exceeds the amount of the bidder’s authorized maximum bid. Maximum bids will remain confidential and are not released to other interested buyers or the Seller. may publish sale results including information concerning a sale transaction. ERCHA reserves the right to reject or voids bids at any time for any reason. Should a dispute arise with respect to bidding, ERCHA reserves the right to settle, in its sole and absolute discretion, the bidding dispute.
