Elwha Fungal Diversity Research Gala

Funds raised at this gala will directly support the ongoing Elwha River Fungal Biodiversity Project. Established in 2024, the project surveys the former Lake Aldwell site and compares its fungal communities with those in less disturbed areas along the Elwha River. Through continued surveys and monitoring, we aim to better understand the role fungi play in habitat recovery and how they may contribute to future restoration efforts.
