City Sounds Season Opener Piano Art Auction

Each year we deconstruct the pianos from the previous season to auction off and raise funds to support the City Sounds: The Des Moines Public Piano Project! All of our pianos are painted by some of Central Iowa's best artists. You can take a piece of piano magic home with you and support our efforts to put music in the public domain through accessible public pianos and ongoing programming.

City Sounds is devoted to growing the art and music culture of Central Iowa by placing public artist painted pianos across the Des Moines metro.
