DO SOMETHING for Kids' Sake

Covid-19 has changed our live Bowl for Kids' Sake event and so many other things in our lives, but not the need for mentoring. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Utah pairs kids with consistent and caring mentors to defend and ignite potential. Throughout this pandemic, our staff has been at work providing support and resources to the kids and families we serve. We are also enrolling new kids and mentors for our program, making virtual matches, and planning sociallly-distanced activities. There's much to do, and we need your support.
Please shop our DO SOMETHING for Kids' Sake silent auction. All funds go directly into our local BBBS programming to support our matches and make new ones. Thank you!

About Big Brothers Big Sisters of Utah

The mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Utah is to create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth. We believe every child has the innate ability to lead a successful life, and we work to build a brighter future for all the kids in our community. Last year, we had more than 1,200 kids enrolled in our three programs: community-based mentoring, site-based mentoring, and mentor2.0. More than 100 are still on our wait list. Of these children across the state of Utah, 80 percent live in poverty, 66 percent are kids of color, 48 percent live in a single-parent household, and 10% have an incarcerated parent. They range in age from elementary to high school. Having a consistent, dependable mentor is a proctective factor in a child's life, and BBBSU needs supporters like you to continue to make our work possible. As part of our new, virtual DO SOMETHING for Kids' Sake event, we are hosting a silent auction to help raise vital funds to support our local BBBSU program. We thank you for your bid and your support!
