About Our Auction
This is DCCNS's 2nd Annual School Celebration and Auction. It will take place Saturday January 27, 2018, at Davis Community Church. This is our largest and most important fundraiser, it is also a super FUN adult event!!!
In addition to the online auction items, the silent auction will have about 60 more amazing items, and will be followed by a vibrant live auction! *Please note that the online items will be transferred to the silent auction on 1/27. Winners will be determined after the silent auction closes.
DCCNS Playground Expansion. After the amazing generosity at last year’s auction we have a fantastic financial start to making substantial improvements to the DCCNS playground. The DCCNS Board of Directors has worked together with Davis Community Church Building and Grounds Committee to approve a plan for relocating the front fence further south, which will allow for a 600 square foot playground expansion. We are so excited to give our children more room to explore, climb, garden, and play but we need your help to make this plan a reality.
About DCCNS, a parent cooperative preschool
DCCNS is a child-centered, play-based preschool offering several multi-age programs for children between the ages of 2 and 5 years who are ready for a group experience. DCCNS is a non-profit, parent co-operative preschool staffed by certified, early childhood teachers who provide a planned, developmentally appropriate, hands-on curriculum. DCCNS offers varied play environments and continuous social experiences as a means of teaching and conveying important skills for school readiness. DCCNS was established in 1973 as an outreach of Davis Community Church. Although DCCNS teaches no religious doctrine, curriculum is guided by a philosophy of mutual care, respect, and understanding, creating an environment in which families from all faiths, backgrounds, and traditions can feel welcome, comfortable, and valued.
DCCNS is licensed by the California State Department of Social Services and follows its regulations as well as the policies set by the school’s board of directors.
Live Event Information
DCCNS Fiesta Fabulosa, dinner and auction, will take place on January 27, 2018, 5:30 - 9:00 p.m., at the Davis Community Church.
Dinner will be catered by Taqueria Guadalajara, along with beer and wine!
