Creative Misfits Art Auction benefitting HEART Inclusive Arts Community
Celebrating the talents of artists from the Lowcountry and afar, Creative Misfits explores the differences in an artists repertoire, and asks our donating artists to gift us with pieces from their archives that never found a home in an exhibit or gallery - those pieces that demonstrate other sides of their style, or experiments in new form.

At HEART, we've created a home where we many misfits can fit perfectly together.

HEART provides visual arts, music, and performing arts mentorships and community engagement for adults with disabilities who want to grow and develop as artists. At HEART, we have created a center where artists of all abilities work together to create something that enriches and transforms the community. Inclusion in any field takes great efforts and HEART is proud to be leading the way for inclusion in the Charleston arts community. HEART is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, and a creative and adventurous family of artists, performers, and all-around creative misfits. Since 2014, we have helped adults with disabilities create compelling art, lasting relationships, community support, accomplishment, acceptance, a higher self-esteem and a sense of purpose and meaning. At HEART, we transcend our abilities through collaborative art.
