About Cache Pride Center
The Cache Pride Center (CPC) is a small LGBTQ+ youth center in Northern Utah supported by Cache Valley Unitarian Universalists (CVUU). LGBTQ+ youth in Northern Utah face a range of challenges and the Cache Pride Center enables our youth to share ideas, information, emotional support, strategies, resources, frustrations, and successes.
We provide separate Preteen (ages 11-14) and Teen (ages 14-18) programs. For LGBTQ+ youth in need of food, clothing, hygiene items, and temporary housing/shelter, we strive to provide for their basic needs and safety. CVUU is deeply committed to the Cache Pride Center and hopes to see it continue to flourish. The need has grown, and the CPC expanded and professionalized its operations to better serve our youth.
Weekly sessions with LGBTQ+ youth always provide a hot meal and check-in, and cycles among guided discussions, education, peer support, individualized tutoring, as well as plenty of fun and games. We provide access to affirming health care, mental health care, allied organizations, suicide prevention, and additional relevant resources.
And we need help keeping this essential program flourishing. Please help us support some of vulnerable youth in our community.
