About Our Auction
Louise Soloway Chan has been a Hong Kong resident for over 20 years. She often describes herself as a visual scribe, capturing the daily lives of the Hong Kong people through her artwork. She has witnessed major pivotal events in its recent history, including the handover in 1997, SARS, the protests, and now the coronavirus pandemic—the focus of this exhibition.
This “Contactless” exhibition , curated by the Boundless Artists Collective (BAC), is part of a fundraiser for InspiringHK Sports Foundation, a local charity with the vision of developing better youths through sports. During lockdown, they have provided a series of online active programmes as a healthy outlet for children and underprivileged youths and families during these difficult times.
Artworks are priced in USD.
