There are eight major focus areas contained in the design of this Macao Health Code. The first focuses on early identification and prevention of ailments. This area addresses the observation of Hong Kong residents' food intake during the weekdays and the days after meals in addition to the frequency of intakes of beverages aside from water in home and at the workplace. The second area focuses on the assessment of micronutrient intake for a basis for nutritional evaluation of the macao Hong Kong inhabitants. The next area addresses the evaluation of calcium along with vitamin D in urine samples in addition to blood samples.
The fourth area focuses on the monitoring of serum antioxidant factors. The fifth focuses on the observation of blood pressure levels and glucose levels. The sixth concentrates on observation of the CADR and/or the Chinese Crested Currency Rate. The seventh targets the instruction of the contact details of the Hong Kong resident's household and contact numbers of their private health practitioners and their corresponding clinics.
The Macao Health Code also includes the provisions for the instruction of emergency healthcare. It specifies the location of their closest hospital with an emergency department. The emergency medical care of the Hong Kong residents is offered by the nearest hospitals as listed in the emergency room. In order to facilitate the documentation of this patient's condition, the designated health officer of this community is needed to accompany the patient to the hospital. The emergency room doctor in Hong Kong can give instructions or refer the patient into the correct specialist. In the event the hospital isn't listed in the emergency area, the local doctor can provide directions.
To be able to make certain that the Macao Health Code is observed, a Macao Health Declaration form has to be available in the community. This form is obtained from the local government office and affixed to the door of the house of the resident. The form comprises the personal information of the resident and contact numbers of the family and immediate relatives, as well as the contact number of the nearest physician in the region. If a resident is hospitalized, his hospitalization report is generally attached to his private declaration form. In the event of little children, the physician ought to be contacted immediately so the child could be returned to the home in 1 piece.
The digital health statement form can be gathered at any of the Health Ministry offices around the date indicated on the form. On collecting the form in the Health Ministry office, it is stamped with the seal of the Health Ministry and forwarded for signature from the applicant. The applicant may then proceed to sign the digital health declaration form and return to the concerned local Health Department for confirmation. On receipt of the signature of the offender, his case is verified and his certificate of eligibility is issued.
