Quilt Auction To Benefit Lutheran World Relief

All proceeds from the quilts auctioned here will benefit Lutheran World Relief (lwr.org). After the August 4, 2020 explosions at the port of Beirut, Lebanon, LWR learned that three 40 foot shipping containers containing humanitarian relief valued at more than $600,000 were severely damaged. The aid included more than 22,000 quilts, cartons of school supply kits, personal care kits, and baby care kits. LWR partners worked to salvage items that could still be used but their need is significant after such a setback.

Christ Lutheran Church is a member of the Southwest Texas Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Churches in America (ELCA). It will celebrate 75 years in 2022 and is located just off of I-35 and Leander Road in Georgetown, Texas.
