Spring Auction for the Chickens

There are over 70 items donated by 33 incredible businesses in our auction! 

This fundraiser will help us build up our medical fund reserve so that when the animals become unexpectedly sick, we are prepared for their care. We hope you'll enjoy the curated selection of amazing items you can bid on, knowing that 100% helps us save chickens' lives! 

Our auction platform has some great features to help you make the most of your bid:

• You can set favourites to monitor their bids.
• You can set email or text reminders to avoid missing out.
• There is extended bidding (extending an item's end time by 3 minutes when it receives a bid during the final 3 minutes, so you can get what you really want!)
• You'll receive an automated email at the end of the auction with an invoice for all your items together, with a link to pay. Meaning we can now accept credit card payments instead of just e-transfers for winning bids!

Secondhand Stories is a registered non-profit chicken sanctuary in Rideau Lakes, Ontario. We provide a loving forever home to 21 rescued chickens. Our Mission is to inspire compassion for chickens through rescue, education & advocacy.
