Art from the Heart

Capital City AIDS Fund (CCAF) President Joyce Mitchell, Apothic Heart's Keith Cromie and over 25 other local artists are bonding together to sell their art to raise money for HIV- positive youth. 100% of the proceeds from art sold will benefit CCAF's Helen Veress-Mitchell Scholarship Fund.

The Capital City AIDS Fund (CCAF) is a non-profit organization, founded in 1995 to support HIV/AIDS services in the Sacramento area. CCAF operates two important programs: Helen Veress-Mitchell Scholarship Fund and the CCAF Prevention and Education Program.

CCAF has raised and donated over $3 million for Sacramento area HIV/AIDS services. Since its inception, CCAF has successfully staged many events including the Capital City AIDS Dance-O-Rama, the Boo Bash, the Sacramento Valley AIDS Run Walk, and the high profile event Smash Hits with Elton John and Billie Jean King which raised over $500,000.
