The Casco Door Project 2024

Desde 2014, The Casco Door Project es la iniciativa insignia de la Asociación de Vecinos y Amigos del Casco Antiguo (AVACA). El proyecto recobra puertas antiguas de edificios restaurados del Casco Antiguo, las cuales son trasnformadas en obras de arte por 34 destacados artistas. La subasta virtual de las obras beneficia las obras sociales que realiza AVACA.

AVACA (Asociación de Vecinos y Amigos del Casco Antiguo) es una organización comunitaria que desde 2009 trabaja en pro del bienestar del vecindario. The Casco Door Project se ha convertido en una plataforma clave para promover la sostenibilidad, la cultura y el arte en la zona. AVACA, con más de 100 miembros activos, sigue trabajando incansablemente para preservar la historia del Casco Antiguo mientras impulsa anualmente una agenda de proyectos sociales y sostenibles para Casco Antiguo, Santa Ana y Chorrillo.

The Casco Door Project is Avaca’s key platform in promoting sustainability and appreciation for the arts. Para ofertar por las obras:

1. Debe crear una cuenta aquí, en 32Auctions. Sólo requiere su nombre, un correo electrónico activo y número de teléfono.
2. Entre a su correo y verifique su nueva cuenta de 32Auctions.
3. Busque las obras que desee e ingrese su oferta.

32Auctions le enviará un correo cuando otras personas oferten por su obra y podrá ingresar una nueva oferta en incrementos desde $50 en adelante por puja u oferta.

Si su oferta es la ganadora al cierre de la Subasta (23 de octubre, 10 p.m.), recibirá en su correo el enlace para hacer el pago de la obra con Visa, MasterCard o Amex/American Express vía PayPal.

How to bid:

1. Create a 32 Auction account. It only requires your name, an email address and a phone number.
2. Got to your email to verify your new 32Auctions account.
3. Return to 32Auctions, search for your favorite artworks and place your bids.

32Auctions will email you when other bidders bid for your artwork.
You may post a higher bid in increments from $50 and up, per bid.
If yours is the winning bid at the close of the Auction (October 23, 10 p.m.), you will receive an email from 32Auctions with a secure link to make your payment with Visa, MasterCard or Amex/American Express via PayPal.

Las pujas pueden realizarse por los montos exactos o con la utilización de proxys dentro de esta plataforma (opción más recomendada). Al registrarse en la plataforma y participar del evento, el usuario acepta los términos y condiciones de www.32auctions.com y de AVACA.

Las obras se adjudicarán al mayor postor registrado en la plataforma de subasta una vez finalice el evento (23 de octubre 2024, 10 pm). Se entiende que el postor adquiere el compromiso legal e intransferible de pagar a AVACA la totalidad de la puja ganadora a través de los medios de pago aquí indicados. Cada puja equivale a un compromiso contractual entre el participante y AVACA con la obligatoriedad correspondiente e intransferible de que el comprador cancele la totalidad de la oferta a AVACA.

Por la naturaleza del compromiso de subasta, no se aceptan devoluciones de obras, intercambios y/o solicitudes de reembolso. AVACA se reserva el derecho de eliminar cualquier puja que no pueda ser verificable o se considere fraudulenta. La organización se reserva el derecho de añadir o retirar del evento cualquier obra y/o modificar aspectos técnicos en las descripciones.

AVACA se compromete a emitir al comprador un recibo por la cantidad en que fue adquirida la obra y este monto es deducible del impuesto sobre la renta en la República de Panamá, de conformidad a la normativa vigente.

Las piezas se subastan en las condiciones actuales descritas y cual se observan en fotografías y en el lugar de exhibición. No se aceptan reclamos sobre restauraciones o desperfectos de las obras.

Bids can be made for exact amounts or with the use of proxies within this platform (most recommended option). By registering on the platform and participating in the event, the user accepts the terms and conditions of www.32auctions.com and AVACA.

The artworks will be awarded to the highest bidder registered on the auction platform by the close of the Auction (October 23, 2024, 10 pm). It is understood that the bidder acquires the legal and non-transferable commitment to pay AVACA the entirety of winning bid through any of the payment methods described.

Each bid is equivalent to a contractual agreement between the bidder and AVACA, with the buyer’s corresponding and non-transferable obligation to pay AVACA in full for the winning bid.
Returns, exchange and/or refunds are not accepted. AVACA reserves the right to remove any bid that cannot be verified or is considered fraudulent. The organization reserves the right to add or remove any artwork from the event and/or modify the technical aspects contained in their descriptions.

The pieces are auctioned in the current conditions described and as seen in photographs and at the exhibition. Claims regarding restorations or damage to the works are not accepted.

The purchases made in this Auction are deductible from income tax in the Republic of Panama. To this effect, AVACA will issue a receipt for the amount in which the artwork was purchased.
