About Our Auction
There’s no doubt, it’s been a tough year for some at-risk children but CASA WORKS has been working hard for their safety and security. CASA (which stands for Court Appointed Special Advocates) is an organization of trained volunteers who speak up on behalf of children who have not been properly taken care of and who find themselves in court because of their parents’ or guardians’ drug abuse, anger issues, and physical or sexual abuse.
Part of our ability to march forward is due to our trained CASA volunteer advocates who have impacted the lives of more than 450 children in crisis this year. Our small but dynamic staff has trained, organized and supported them in doing their jobs. But here is our latest challenge.
Each year, we fund CASA WORKS operating budget with grants, contributions and fundraisers.
Our success is directly connected to the safety of each child we serve. We have come so far and we can’t lose even one of these children.
